BBCSO 1.5 Template for Cubase 11+ Pro

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Since I've published this a few years ago, there have been thousands of downloads. I chose to set the price as a "pay what you want" option, making it $0 an option. There have been thousands of downloads since and I'm sorry to say that less than 20 people decided to actually enter a number higher than 0. Yet, I get at least 3 support question per week, of which really none are related to the template itself and have more to do with Cubase technical questions. This is why, as of August 2024, there is now a minimum price of $1. I don't think it's too much to ask for the template for a library that anyone bought for several hundreds 😊

This is a full Spitfire Audio BBC Symphony Orchestra (Core or Pro) template for Cubase 11+ Pro (it should work on 10+ but has not been tested extensively. It works just fine on 12 and 13.) Everything is already routed to sub-busses and properly balanced. Each instrument has a dedicated Expression Map and short string articulations are separated from the long ones. At the top, you will find a dedicated utility area with markers, tempo & signature tracks. A sketching area is also there for Cubase Chord Track, sketching piano, and so on. Because a template is meant to evolve and be flexible, there are already busses and routes in place for other sections such as guitars, synths and SFX.

You don't need any other plugin. Spitfire Audio BBCSO is all you need for working with this template. The other plugins are stock plugins available with Cubase.

In short, with this template you can simply sit down and start composing without having to deal with technical tasks.
